Biene – a little fighter with a big heart

Biene is a special cat. Not the kind you can simply “rescue.” She’s the kind that requires time, patience, and lots of love. It took nearly 1.5 years for Biene to gain trust. A year and a half during which she learned that people don’t just mean fear—but also safety, care, and love.

For a long time, she came regularly to our feeding station. Always cautious. Always keeping her distance. But step by step, she grew bolder… And eventually, she let us get close.

Biene suffered from a severe ear infection. But because she was so shy, we couldn’t treat her for a long time. When we were finally able to catch her, we received the devastating diagnosis: malignant ear cancer.

It was a shock. We fought for weeks—for her health, for her life.
Her ears had to be amputated. But the most important thing is:
Biene survived. The cancer was defeated.

She isn’t deaf—and she’s fought her way back to life.
Without the support of many wonderful people, this wouldn’t have been possible.

Biene isn’t the kind of cat who opens up right away. But she’s one who touches your heart deeply if you give her a chance. She’s been through so much. She’s learned so much.
And she’s fought so hard.

Now it’s time for her to simply be allowed to live.
In peace. In safety. In love.

All our dogs and cats are spayed or neutered before they leave, provided they are old enough for the procedure.
