Frida and Emma – they see the world with their hearts

Some journeys through life start out a little harder than others. Frida and Emma arrived at a veterinary clinic in Alcossebre in the summer of 2022 as kittens about five weeks old.
Their eyes were severely damaged, both were very weak, and their future was uncertain.
Emma is completely blind. However, that doesn’t stop her from curiously exploring her surroundings, playing, and enjoying life. She trusts her sister Frida with all her heart. When she needs guidance, she turns to her.
Frida is nearly blind and a particularly sensitive cat. To Emma, she is a sister, a companion, and a confidante all at once. The two often go about their daily lives together, sleep close to each other, and provide each other with security and comfort.
Frida reacts sensitively to new situations and needs people who treat her with calm, patience, and understanding. If you give her the time she needs, she’ll repay you with trust and her gentle nature.
Please note that our animals are only placed with a protection contract. All indoor cats are placed only with another cat. Kittens are placed only with another kitten or young cat. You can find all information about the adoption fee, our organization, and the adoption process on our website. The adoption fee does not include transportation costs. All our dogs and cats are spayed or neutered before they go to their new homes, provided they are old enough for the procedure.
