Mondo – charming tabby cat looking for his forever home

Mondo is a beautiful brown tabby cat, born around July 2021, with a personality all his own.

Now he’s looking for a home that meets his needs and gives him the freedom he desires.

Mondo was found in the courtyard of an apartment building in Bilbao, northern Spain. He was subsequently adopted as an indoor cat by an elderly woman and lived there for about eight months.

During that time, it became clear that Mondo is an active and independent cat who longs for more variety and opportunities to explore.

We are therefore looking for a home for him where, after a reasonable adjustment period, he can enjoy the freedom to go outside.

Mondo is very affectionate toward people. He loves being petted and enjoys the attention of his humans. At the same time, this handsome tomcat knows exactly when he’s had enough. If he withdraws or runs away, it means he wants his personal space.

Anyone who respects his subtle cues will find a wonderful companion in Mondo.

Mondo feels most comfortable as the sole cat in the household and would like to have his new home all to himself. He is also not yet accustomed to children.

That’s why we’re looking for a quiet home for him with people who appreciate his independence and will give him the time and peace he needs to settle into his new surroundings.

The ideal home for Mondo would be one where he has the opportunity to go outside, so he can explore his surroundings, pursue his own interests, and then return to enjoy the company of his people.

Mondo is a cat with character, charm, and a clear sense of what he wants. For the right people, he will be a very special companion. Anyone who treats him with understanding, respects his boundaries, and at the same time gives him the freedom he needs could be just the right family for this handsome tabby.

Please note that Mondo will only be adopted with a protection agreement.
