Bacardi—the cuddly tomcat with a big heart

One day, Bacardi showed up at our feeding station.

He immediately caught our attention: He was very emaciated, infested with parasites, and initially very wary of people.
Fortunately, we were able to rescue him and take him into our care.

What we didn’t know back then: Behind his shy facade lay a real treasure.

With lots of patience, love, and care, Bacardi has learned to trust people.

Today, the once-shy tomcat has turned into a real cuddle bug.

Anyone who gets to know Barcardi quickly realizes how much he enjoys being close to his people. He loves to accompany his primary caregiver through daily life and simply wants to be part of it.

He gets along exceptionally well with other cats and integrates easily into an existing cat group.

He prefers to keep a bit of a distance from our dogs. He accepts them but doesn’t necessarily need their company.

Please note that our animals are only given up for adoption with an adoption agreement. You can find all information about the adoption fee, our organization, and the adoption process on our website. The adoption fee does not include vet costs. All our dogs and cats are spayed or neutered before they go to their new homes, provided they are old enough for the procedure.
