Leonard – an elegant Galgo mix – your friend for life

Leonard is a beautiful Galgo Español mix, born around April 2023.

He was found alone in Catral—perhaps left behind after a Sunday rabbit hunt. No one came looking for him—which is all the more reason why we hope to find him people who will welcome him as a cherished companion and give him a loving home.

He observes his surroundings carefully and takes his time to build trust. Once he’s given his heart, he shows his loving side: affectionate, cuddly, and deeply attached to his human.

Leonard gets along very well with other dogs. He lives peacefully with them but equally enjoys the closeness of his humans and doesn’t constantly need the company of other dogs.

It hasn’t yet been possible to test whether he can live with cats.

Leonard is an easygoing and pleasant companion. Outdoors, he loves long walks and moves with the elegance and joy typical of Galgos.

Indoors, however, he is calm, relaxed, and enjoys every moment of affection.

We’re hoping to find Leonard a home with people who appreciate his gentle nature and who, with patience and love, will give him the security that allows a close bond to grow. Whoever gives him this chance will gain a loyal, sensitive, and exceptionally loving friend for life.

The adoption fee does not include transportation costs. All our dogs and cats are spayed or neutered before they travel, provided they are old enough for the procedure.
