Piti was found on the street in La Romana and came to us in poor health.
At first, Piti approaches new people with a certain degree of reserve. But if you give him a little time, he quickly opens his heart. Once he’s gained confidence, he’s trusting, playful, and enjoys being close to his people.
Piti is an exceptionally easygoing dog. He gets along equally well with other dogs and people and interacts with his surroundings in a calm and friendly manner.
Sometimes you get the feeling that he’s simply happy to be safe, to get his food regularly, and to have people around him whom he can trust.
He already walks nicely on a leash and likes to follow his human’s lead. In fact, Piti seems to do everything he can to please those around him. He wants to belong, he wants to learn, and above all, he wants to be loved.
His calm and easygoing nature makes him a wonderful companion for people who are looking for a well-balanced and loving dog. Piti doesn’t need a big show or complicated adventures. He just wants to settle in, trust, and discover the beautiful sides of life together with his people.
Piti has been through so much, yet he has held onto something very special: his trust in people.
Now it’s time for the next chapter of his life to begin.
A home of his own, loving people, leisurely walks, and plenty of attention—that’s really all this wonderful guy needs to be truly happy.
