Tequila – a little miracle on four paws

Tequila didn’t have an easy start in life—and yet she’s full of zest for life.

Her story begins with her mom, a very shy, feral dog whom we’ve been feeding regularly since November 2025. Even back then, it was clear: she must have had puppies. Our hunch was right.

In January 2026, when the little ones were old enough to eat on their own, their mom brought her puppies to us—healthy, well-fed, and ravenous. A sign of great trust.

The mother stayed near the puppies for two days. Then she didn’t come back.

We brought the puppies to safety, hoping their mom would follow—but unfortunately, she still hasn’t let us catch her. She still comes around, but keeps her distance and runs away as soon as people get close.

Tequila is a cheerful, lively little female dog with lots of charm.
She loves to play, explore her surroundings, and enjoys every bit of affection.
