With people who give him time and understanding, he quickly shows how much he has in him. As a typical hunting dog, Dexter is incredibly loving and cuddly. At the same time, he follows his nose with great passion: when walking, it is almost always on the ground, his ears attentively on the move. Once he has picked up a scent, he is keen to follow it - just like a pointer, who would sniff out a treat at 100 metres. Dexter was found on the streets of Bigastro. He is absolutely compatible with other dogs, but is not suitable for a home with cats or other small animals. He already knows how to walk on a lead, but as a dog motivated to hunt he naturally has a lot of energy and a keen sense of detection. A perfect mantrailer or sniffer dog, Dexter wants more than just leisurely walks - he wants to experience, discover and work. His great passion is nose work: mantrailing, jogging or canicross would be right up his street! A pure couch life doesn't suit him - he's looking for people who want to have adventures together.
