Baloo – a heart for people, a loner among dogs

Baloo is a true sweetheart around people: affectionate, loving, and very eager to learn. He actively seeks closeness with his human and forms a strong bond—a true companion who wants to please. But as gentle as he is with humans, his behavior toward other animals is just as challenging: Whether it’s a dog, cat, or small animal—Baloo reacts immediately and extremely impulsively.

We don’t know what happened to him in the past. One thing is certain, however: Baloo has not been socialized with other dogs. He therefore needs a home where he is the only animal—with an owner who is willing to handle him consistently, responsibly, and with the necessary safety precautions. Walks are only possible with a muzzle—but then he is calm and easy to lead, almost like a tame little lamb.
Baloo had an incident at the shelter when he escaped from an uncovered kennel and attacked a passing female dog. Since then, he has been living in a secure area and always wears a muzzle outdoors—and this arrangement works perfectly.

SG, SZ, UR, ZG
